   *US judge rules Mahmoud Khalil can be deported [solely] for his views.* (I believe this was the specially selected judge for whom they sent Khalil to Louisiana instead of holding the hearing near New York.)      [3/3] rights. But a proclamation by an official is no proof, and citing it is no real process. If courts accept that as satisfying the requirement for "due process", due process becomes a sham and a pretense.

The result is a totally arbitrary non-process which can be used at any time against any non-citizen. A Secretary of State could print up form letters with duplicated signatures with a blank for adding the target's name. Requiring "due process of law" is the method used by US law to make the government demonstrate grounds for decisions that deny a person's
