I went back to my home town yesterday for an overnight trip, and this moring I drove to the small town my dad grew up in, which sits in a narrow Norwegian fjorth surrounded by steep mountains.
These images are from the innermost part of the fjorth where the two oldest remaining houses stand. My great grandfather was born there in 1892.
The rock overhang is below a large cliff face, and there are traces of habitants dating back about 6000 years. The site is now a historical site.
