     Same with DistroTube. He apparently ran some weirdo fork of Arch (not even Artix). There's genuinely only a handful of valid distros.

     @crunklord420 @iska don't mistake that because he looks vaguely similar to you and has vaguely similar interests that he's even a fraction of your intelligence level. I'm reminded of a time I had a conversation with one of the top indian software engineers at Google. We were having a team outing at a beer garden and he was sitting next to me. I asked him about his first computer and when he started getting into computers, and he thought about it a minute and said something like his first computer was "XP" and he started learning computers in college. I just immediately lost all respect for the entire industry basically in that moment

     @mischievoustomato yeah you can always corrupt your OS if you lose power in the middle of something important. In reality even in the worst case scenario it's pretty trivial to boot up off a liveCD and chroot fix whatever got interrupt. It's not like bricking your BIOS update.

     @charlie_root it takes more time doing all the things he did than he does it to live boot -> chroot -> force pacman to reinstall whatever broken package.
     
     Instead he tried to do a full system restore, which itself is a giant time dump because you're always going back in time. Then reinstalled his system from scratch, and migrated his data over.
     
     On top of that Linux Mint has absolutely nothing to do with the initial problem or the solution.

     @eric @iska yeah I think he ran it until ArcoLinux died because there's no legitimate reason for it to exist. When begs the question, why is a supposedly well informed Linux Distro Man running a pointless, obviously fragile distro? It's totally unsurprisingly Arco ceased to exist.
