    ****we are post-constitutional now****

start building real community, where you live. in physical space, not online. learn who lives around you. look them in the eye. check on the vulnerable. check on the quiet ones. this is the time for proximity, not posts.

who's at risk? immigrants. black and brown folks. trans people. poor people. outspoken dissenters. anyone with a record. differently abled. people with drug issues. anyone who ever got flagged by a system. anyone who doesn't fit the image of "real american" they're pushing.

they're testing the edges. the rest of us are next.

this is a full-blown constitutional crisis and the mask is off.

the supreme court ordered the government to facilitate the return of a man it wrongfully deported. the administration shrugged. bukele parroted trump's line, calling the return "smuggling a terrorist." they admit it was an error, but won't correct it. this is defiance of the judiciary in broad daylight.

if the executive can ignore a court order by blaming foreign policy, the constitution is dead letter. and if that foreign leader is coordinating the excuse? it's a show trial without the trial.

this isn't about one man. this sets the precedent: the government can disappear someone, ignore due process, then blame someone else for not letting him come back. if they can do that to him, they can do it to anyone.

CECOT is becoming a legal black site. if this stands, the next step is american citizens sent abroad to rot in foreign prisons with no recourse. and trump is already floating that publicly.

this isn't theoretical. this isn't hyperbole. this is the state testing how far it can go. and the answer so far is: as far as it wants.

the courts have no power without enforcement. congress won't act. the people are stunned or paralyzed. but make no mistake, we are past the line. the only question left is what anyone is willing to do about it.

      EDIT:

President of El Salvador says he won't return mistakenly deported man to U.S.
        from NBCNews
The Trump administration is also now claiming that Kilmar Abrego Garcia was not deported by mistake, as the Justice Department stated, but was “the right person sent to the right place.”
