@nev this is my favorite scene so far - the spider is lovely & I really feel the tension of the dude crawling through the web. The score against the spider noise is *chef's kiss.*
...and it just got interrupted by an ad, dammit... #Monsterdon
Now That's What I Call Green Screen
These mares don't look very fiery at all
The spider bouncing on its web to track the vibrations of prey is also very realistic behaviour. Colour me thoroughly impressed by spider rep in this movie
RIP liamneeson "Faithful" mcbandit
Was that a Wilhelm scream???
Despite my superior knowledge of this type of setting, I, like, you, am also confused about why the Cyclops is here
James Horner really worked hard for this paycheque, eh?
Did we get a little bit of day for night in there? It's not #Monsterdon without day for night.
rip bomb ass giant eye
Much like how "the hivemind that all dies when you kill the queen" is not a thing because the whole point of having multiple bodies is that when one dies all the rest don't, "fortress that collapses when the maker dies" is also not a thing
Wait. The Beast just dies from being freaking set on fire?
Real fire, even badly composited-in fire, always, ALWAYS looks better than CGI fire.
Oh look at that shit. You KNOW they used a real flamethrower for that
you were TOLD the thing had limited battery
Chekhov's ninja throwing star drill thing?
Oh cool they noclipped out of the level
