@lowrah I guess some instances probably block brid.gy but I'm not aware of it being a big thing.

Way more likely to find instances that block threads (because many reasons), or the birdsite account mirror bot (because consent not required). So it's probably more important to check a prospective new home for those things, if they'd make a difference to one's choice
