   @k @NostalgicKitsune I use icewm on my riscv machine, because it doesn't have good gpu drivers (imgtec needs a dose of :linus: middle finger)

     @a1ba @NostalgicKitsune I don't know anyone that has composition disabled - sure thats a pedantic argument but "GTK is fine" is the onion of mine.

     (I assume they don't wanna pay QT licence's :D)

     @NostalgicKitsune try to disable compositing. Because libadwaita apps draw shadows themselves, with software rendering the shadow becomes a thick black bar.
     
     I often do that on the office computer because the GPU is not something you can call an accelerator.
