   As I noted in another thread

   A friend's US company with 7000 employees worldwide does an annual retreat in the US. Employees love it because it's luxury all expenses paid for everyone and their families. (Perks of not being a public company)

   This year they've talked about holding it outside the US, but it's the same dilemma: People already in the US don't want to leave and risk not being able to get back in

   They're contemplating two separate retreats, one US, one not

     How are international conferences dealing with the fact that some people are now afraid or unwilling to enter the US? Are they holding conferences elsewhere, encouraging remote participation, ignoring the issue, or what?

     If you're helping run an international conference (like me), or even just going to one, I'd like to know what you're seeing.
