   A friend's wife owns a US company with 7000 employees worldwide. Every year they do an annual retreat in the US. The employees look forward to it because it's luxury all expenses paid for everyone and their families. (Perks of not being a public company)

   When I suggested that maybe they hold it outside the US this year, my friend said they'd discussed it, but it's the same dilemma: People already in the US don't want to leave and risk not being able to get back in

     Today when I thought about visiting my children who live on the west coast, “I wonder if I should bring my passport?” Immediately following this thought was:

     • OMG I am legitimately concerned about cross country travel.
     • This is fucking depressing.
     • I refuse to normalize this shit.
     • Trump is a POS.

     I bring my passport with me to trivia night now.

     And I'm so pale, as a kid at summercamp the counselors nicknamed me 'Edgar' after Edgar Winter
