1. Vandenberg SFB Guardians and Airmen are scheduled to support a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch of the NROL-192 mission from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E), Saturday, April 12. Liftoff is targeted for 5:25 a.m. PT. If needed, a backup opportunity is available on Sunday, April 13 starting at 5:09 a.m. PT. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which will be stationed in the Pacific Ocean. There is the possibility that residents of and visitors to Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties may hear one or more sonic booms during the launch, but what residents experience will depend on weather and other conditions.

  Oh look, a whole bunch of Nazi party accomplishments cited on the NASA website for Mr. von Braun (he was a junior SS officer). I wonder if that's new or has always been there....

  1. Based on his army-funded research on liquid-propellant rocketry, von Braun received a doctorate in physics on July 27, 1934, from the main university in Berlin. Von Braun was a member of an SS equestrian unit in 1933–34, joined the Nazi Party in 1937 and became a junior SS officer in 1940.
