Partner, kiddo and I are going to Cinerama – I mean "SIFF Downtown" – tonight to see the David Lynch version of Dune. Cinerama has just a fabulous huge screen and great sound. They also have chocolate popcorn. Cinerama closed back in 2020 until SIFF took over. We've made chocolate popcorn at home (using recipe from former employee!) but I am very excited to go.

Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen was probably not a great guy but he did leave a lot of great cultural institutions. #Seattle
