   So if a person is very clumsy and gets the glue from a fly trap on their hands, and then try to wash it off with soap and only succeed in spreading it to more spots so fingers stick together, then try acetone which didn't work, then more soap and a nail brush to hopefully get it off by trapping it with the bristles, and everything is still sticky after 30 minutes

   What is such a person to do to get rid of the glue-fingers?

     @silhelm Slather your hands with cooking oil. Then wash the oil off with dish soap.

     Even better if you have it is the hand cleaner mechanics use. That stuff will get almost anything off. And yes, the two methods can be combined.
