     with things like mascots people feel connection to them. they, oftentimes, have lore and prebuilt fanbase due to what they're mascotting. you have to replicate that world, the space and lore, that your oc has or else it simply isn't as engaging as a mascot or non-OC character.

     pleroma is the worst designed mascot i've seen in ages. I find the GO gopher more endearing. you're the one that's pushing that there's no correlation between lore of a character and connection to it. And the application of that logic as to why people seem to like art of pre-existing characters and mascots, because that's all i initially said. if you don't disagree with that statement then why did you open your faggot mouth in the first place?
