A new proposed rule from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) would:
1) Terminate existing ACA coverage for DACA recipients and block future enrollment.
2) Undermine access to gender-affirming care and potentially lead some insurers to drop coverage entirely.
3) Increase premiums, out-of-pocket costs, and administrative barriers for low- and middle-income families.
Republicans couldn’t repeal the ACA in Congress, so now they’re trying to gut it through executive action.
