     @skinnylatte i wish someone helped my *pay* my taxes. Even with uncle sam taking a portion of every paycheck last year I still owed $6k😢

     @vsvivek93 do you have an SSN? i just do taxslayer usually if it's just w-2 income and pretty straightforward. shouldn't take more than 30 min

     @vsvivek93 yeah, every tax form has a box with numbers. Just follow the numbers (box 1 says X dollars, fill it in when asked for box 1 info)

     It’s actually fairly straightforward with just work income

     I also have this dumb question. Do we need mail them the tax returns filed online to IRS?

     @vsvivek93 when you submit on taxslayer it auto sends it to the IRS for you. Note that you have to pay for tax slayer before submitting. It sends one to federal and one to the state you’re filing in.

     There are free versions of tax software but I wouldn’t get into it right now as your first time filing.

     Got it! My wife is a student and I did her filing last year when I was here visiting. I used Sprintax to do it and got the refund as well. But someone send we need to mail them the returns as well.
