   I was stuck with dial-up for so long, I missed newgrounds and most the flash era thanks to cheap parents who thought the Internet was good enough for checking their email for ten minutes a day. I could only check some of that stuff out in my high school science lab.

     Music piracy was another era that I missed... until I discovered torrents much later.
     
     I had uploaded like 10TB to Demonoid while it was still up! All those 30-50gb collections of metal subgenres and movies I never watched.
