My 8 year old asked why I "keep going to that pep rally," so I explained last week's rally for Trans Day of Visibility and why I'm going to a Hands Off rally today (cuts to science & govt services, anti-DEI policies, anti-immigrant policies, etc etc). My sweet kiddo immediately asked to go along (despite the forecast for cold rain) and is making a sign about how everyone is welcome here ❤️
