   Seeing a lot of white, almost "bleached" growth around at the moment like this. Is this normal and I just haven't noticed it before?

     @benedwards Great stuff - I just don't remember it all being so white before, but couldn't tell you what colour it should be if not...

     @benedwards Not heard of Blackthorn before, but realised it's the proper name for sloes, which are definitely everywhere. Black, white, whatever! Maybe the bumper year is what I've noticed then, cheers 🙏

     @scribe I stand corrected (by my mum!), its actually blackthorn, having a bumper year. Hawthorn comes in May
