   I have a similar concern here. I've already lost two emails on private domains because I had to stop maintaining the infra (myself), then I switched to one of the big ones, and have been using it since then. In the meantime I tried a new email provider, that closed their doors in less than two years, so I lost that one as well. Not moving away from the big ones any time soon.

     @thisismissem sometimes I think i’m going to regret using a custom domain for email, like it’s great now but keeping it registered for the rest of my life is a nontrivial project and I can imagine it going wrong
