   Different architectures having a dozen different machines all functionality different from each other and very incompatible as well just, makes me a bit upset. x86 has The Standard PC well defined and you find it everywhere and expect every machine to be similar

     @nyanide the weird boxes of x86 weren't even as bad
     Pc98s are very similar to each other and so are Intel Macs and whatnot
