   "Eggs are expensive" hasn't impacted higher-quality eggs from more ethically-housed chickens. It's literally less than a dollar difference between the gross factory-farmed ones and the cage free ones, and you can definitely taste the difference.

     @mrsaturday cage free is a meme though. theyre just crowded together instead of in separate cages. only "animal welfare approved" eggs are substantially ethical.

     @mrsaturday I get genuinely ethical eggs from a local guy. he has chickens in his yard and boy can you taste the difference.
