     He gave me one of my first, truly safe jobs and opportunities as a PA for a project he was working on years ago. He made it a point to say “I want to see more Black women in this industry…” and then proved it with his actions. I got to hug him last year after not seeing him for sometime. We spoke via iPad. He was incredibly proud of me. This is all that matters. Honored to know this man. I am truly glad he is free.

     He was one of the first people I ever had a chance to ever create a movie site for. He also gave me my first taste of music supervision after I brought in the 100 CD booklet of options for them to listen to. He kept the creeps, fetishizers and passive aggressive racists at bay. We suffered no fools together.

     He knew exactly what to do with me while respecting everything about me. Thats rare.
