     @benroyce I would have been genuinely surprised if Booker was actually transphobic based on what I know of him. I just did a quick search and found this Newsweek piece from 2019 where he was pretty openly supportive of transgender people.

     '...Booker complained, "We do not not talk enough about trans Americans, especially African-American trans Americans, and the incredibly high rates of murder right now."'
