   i read that for best battery life on devices you let it discharge to 20 and only charge it to 80 but i don't have the self-discipline to not instantly plug something if its not full

     @emma You maintain the best battery life for Li-Ion's if you keep it constantly plugged in and set it to charge to 80% and provided the battery management is any good and you occasionally discharge to 20%.
