   Many areas of myanmar often only has power for a few hours at a time but the little infrastructure they have has been disrupted so even developed areas or areas that were outside of the earthquake's center have no power again. The wealthy have solar power and sustain. Major roads have also gone astray, cutting off some people's access to food.

   Just a reminder that when you see news about earthquakes like this, it's a literal collapse of people's lives, and there is still a wealth (often in relation to ethno-religious classes) disparity in who survives.

   In a country where many people are impoverished and unable to eat, even more so are they now isolated and many of the injured will likely never be found.

     After the earthquake in Myanmar, my aunt's house suffered minor damage. Thankfully they are safe and the house is still up. She owns her brother in laws house which fell down, so his family is living with my aunt now.

     My family shared reports about how a Chinese school collapsed during classes, a historical pagoda that they used to visit being destroyed, and Mandalay university being on fire. My mom's friend lost his father and aunt.
