Did you know? Chromosome testing in sports has been done before and was stopped because cisgender people repeatedly learned that their chromosomes didn’t match their assigned sex. — Something the “XX and XY only” crowd seems to have forgotten.

The wikipedia article has information on one case, with links: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_verification_in_sports

There's also an article in Scientific American that refers to it: https://www.scientificamerican.com/podcast/episode/sex-testing-in-the-olympics-and-other-elite-sports-is-based-on-flawed/

"It will not necessarily catch all men who try to enter a women’s competition because some men can have XX chromosomes. All you’re going to do is catch women who have no idea there’s anything different about them..."

@Strandjunker Is there a link? Or a place I should search? I might want to make a few people read that.
