   I saw this thing the other day, some kid was walking down the street firing an AK-47 and he got tlet out like a few hours later.

     @ins0mniak yes of course you need them. But they should have longer training and really hard academic requirements like in Europe and extensive deescalation training and psychology non lethal approach to every situation like in Europe

     @ins0mniak I would be really scared dealing with cops in US. I still remember that hotel video where they asked a guy to lay down on the floor, he was unarmed laying on floor and they started giving random instructions just to end with shooting him. A large amount of cops in US comes from military duty and stuffers from PTSD or other mental instability. Cops should not be militarized like they are in US. They should act more like a civilian armed authority as opposed to military domestic force

     I mean I get along with Euros but we in America have very different ways of thinking.
     
     It just is.
     
     People in Europe don't often understand but there are very specific historical reasons why we do what we do.

     @ins0mniak Europe even if there are foreigners they always show respect when faced with ultimate authority. It's part of social contract. They may not show respect for citizens but when faced with government authority from the law they buckle
