IUD placement can be used as an emergency contraceptive within the exact same timeframe as the emergency contraceptive pill (5 days).

Obviously not ideal. But an option, especially if you're over the weight recommendation (160# for Plan B, 190# for Ella). Idk what to expect in the coming months but our clinic is preparing the best we can because you are more than a vessel for reproduction no matter what the government says 💚
