   I went through 169 published blog posts and 30 pages to correct the URL for one of my sticker artists because they moved to a new carrd.co URL.

   Attempting to MySQL REPLACE() my way to success did not work, presumably because of Automattic's Jetpack fucking with things.

   I did not fix all the broken Twitter embeds caused by people jettisoning that website. I'm not sure I'll have the energy to, ever.

     I went through all the Twitter embeds on my blog about two years ago and changed them into static quotes. Plenty of people had already left , including me, so had to do some digging to find the original texts...

     Next step would be to refresh all the dead links to other sites, there are more than a thousand of those returning an error code, plus some that have irrelevant redirects. If only I had done that regularly...

     @ssundell @soatok I wish CMS software did that automatically. Grabbing archives of anything you link/embed and giving an easy way to replace link with static archive if it rots.
