     @pwm @iwillbite frantech. The amount i pay is basically because of the storage the box comes with. Instance is 4 years old, so the DB is pretty big

     @lunarised @iwillbite mmm, I see. There are arcane techniques you could apply to prune that back somewhat, if you were ever seriously interested in reducing the bill

     @lunarised @pwm @iwillbite what command are you using? The pleroma prune process can be more or less aggressive depending on the arguments.

     This is what I use, monthly:

     ./bin/pleroma_ctl database prune_objects --keep-threads --keep-non-public --prune-orphaned-activities

     Basically keep things that are part of threads I was in, and keep DM/private threads, but dispose of anything else.

     Of course, I only have me and the bot for active users, I dunno how many others you have.

     Hmmmm. Trying to run these gives me a match error (when accounted for me not using OTP)
