   America is so weird. per $100 restaurant bill, a waitress has to pay out $5 to other untipped staff, even if she herself did not receive any tips.

     @kaia really feel like proper service fees should be normalized… tips are more appropriate for like "wow, staff did a really good job there"

     @kaia The unpaid staff did their part of the contract.
     If the customer feels she did not provide the requisite level of service, her part, that is on her.

     About 10 % will never tip regardless of how she did. That is unfair and sucks.
