I hate to admit it but I do think LLMs are actually pretty good for explaining how to cook common meals.
But this is only true because every single website that contains cooking recipes absolutely fucking sucks with no exceptions.

If you prompt it to make up an original dish or whatever it will probably be something completely inedible no doubt about it.
But just common dishes that it has like millions of lines of training data entries on? Probably fine. -
