   MeHole and co are convinced that if they can inhale enough boot, the worst can be avoided, but I think that this is some kind of magical thinking. Trump is reforming the empire and new configurations are being established and they are not being upfront with the Irish people about what's happening. Mainly because that would involve telling the Irish people that we are nothing more than a glorified tax haven with a European coat of paint.

     I love that the Irish government is so delusional that they think the Trump admin isn't going to completely destroy our entire economic model, to which they are happily married, next week. They have not even considered the possibility that this country is about to be fucking crushed economically, because our entire thing is being a European Cayman Islands. We are so incredibly fucked. I don't know how many people here realise it, but we are.
