I really agree about the protests as a way to build community and capacity for action — and about #TeslaTakedown being excellent for that purpose!

A quibble: people •are• rising up to protest. I’ve read (but don’t have the link, sorry) research that found are approximately twice the rate now of the comparable point in the 1st Trump term. They just aren’t receiving similar coverage. Perhaps this is because they are smaller but more numerous, instead of single large banner events like the Women’s March? Regardless, people are definitely rising up.
