There's no really deep reason for me asking, by the way. I just like hearing about people's weird dreams, lol. Hope no one minds, by the way. I feel a little bit like some kind of psychic voyeur.

@superflippy In middle school I used to have some dreams where I could control the first few moves, but after I got deeper into it it took over.
Also at least once I was able to wake myself from a pretty neutral dream because I knew it was about to take a bad path and turn into a nightmare. -

@Fragglemuppet Years ago, I knew there was something scary on the other side of a door in a dream. So, in the dream, I quickly thought, “It’s just going to be a bunny rabbit.” When the door opened, there was a human-sized rabbit wearing a top hat & tuxedo!
That’s the only time I’ve ever knowingly controlled a dream. -

@superflippy Also, while I've never had what I would call a lucid dream, in most dreams a little part of my mind seems to be keeping track and when something happens it'll say "wait, that's not the way it is in real life." The tricky part is, that part of my mind has been known to provide false information as well.
