   it's amazing how it's current year and still no Linux live cds provide a script for mounting /proc /sys etc before chrooting so you either have do these gay monotonous tasks on every boot or you have to unsquash your chungus usb live cd filesystem to add it in and squash it back in

     @ainsworth the gentoo install CDs have arch-chroot which does it for you.
