But what good will it do? Males hate women innately. It cannot be fixed. A 100 years ago women and girls were raped and murdered just the same, without social media coming into play. Go back a 1000 years in time, and boom women and girls not being heard, seen or cared for, raped, tortured and murdered for shits and giggles, because males.

@LadyMont Call me old fashioned, but we've seen the results of the state deciding what to teach children and it's made far more mess than it could ever begin to fix.
I'm increasingly of the opinion that this is not a bug, but a feature.

Perhaps we could entertain the radical notion that children need to learn how to read, write and do maths in schools. They need to learn how science works to help them think about and explore the world through studying the humanities. They need to run around, do sport, free play and laugh.
While they're there. they need to understand how learning works, talk and discuss and think and debate ideas so they become confident about detecting bullshit and understanding peer pressure. They need to mix with others and learn how to resolve conflict, take risks, develop tolerance and personal boundaries, and foster a strong sense of self. They need adults around them who are concerned about delivering high-quality education rather than ideology and propaganda.

When did we decide that the curriculum needs updating every time there's a twitter pile on, a social fad, or a TV show? Why don't teachers grow a spine and say NO?
This is why I won't go back to working in schools.
