In ancient literature, measles, chicken pox and small pox were debated by doctors if they were the same disease or not. What we call "small pox" is a label retroactively applied to billions of cases historically that were probably something else.
I think if you gave ever kid who had a chicken pox a measles antibody test, over half would test positive (herpes tests trigger on the same antigens too)
