     In other news, some HP USB-C dock I had seen laying around in office appears to be workng just fine, with charging, video outputs, USB (through whcih everything else is routed and whatnot.

     Holy shit I cannot type. I blame chinkpad designers putting fn where ctrl would be. I know you could rebind it in bios, but this won't change the physical size of the buttons.
