   Marriage is a scam. What's the benefit of signing a contract where the other party is rewarded for breaking it?
   
   Even @Humpleupagus can agree with me on this. What the bible is talking about as it refers to marriage does not reflect our current society's view of "what is a marriage". So to my Christian brothers, I'm not anti-biblical marriage, I'm anti-2025-american law marriage.

     Marriage didn't originate from the Bible though. The ceremony is particularly European and is nearly identical to the ceremony that often accompanied the right of seisen, which required communal attendance at a transfer of land, where at the transeror would transfer property rights to the transferee by handing a clod of dirt to the transferee.

     Women in general are just stupid crazy. Men with money should just get surrogates and be single dads. Most people I've ever met that were raised by dad alone were 1000x better than those raised by mom alone.
