   But this figure vastly understates the true scale of the problem, as it excludes the legions of functional HR equivalents—like DEI bureaucrats and NGO busybodies—many of whom are even worse.
   
   Kind of like East Germany: the official Stasi-to-citizen ratio was 1 in 100, but when you factor in informants, it was closer to 1 in 7.
