Some yellows seen while walking the dog this morning (in the wind). He loves cold weather and wind. Maybe we should move to the North Pole. Meanwhile I hope you're not allergic to willow pollen.

1. A spray of bright yellow four-petaled forsythia flowers curls up toward the sky against a backdrop of shrubby branches starting to leaf out.

2. Three willow catkins in a willow tree are in various stages of maturity, one in front with stamens widely splayed, on at the top with stamens just starting to exert and one at the bottom showing its ripening stamens. The anthers are bright yellow and full of pollen, ready to attack people with allergies.
