btw I have proof that something screwy is going on with the timelines
I found this in my deceased grandmother's personal belongings, it's her old passport, it says "People's Republic of Bulgaria" on it, but it was issued in 1997. The People's Republic of Bulgaria ceased to exist in 1989 with the fall of communism. Seeing as this is an international passport, they had to have changed the name or it wouldn't be recognized as a valid passport by any other country, as a state called the "People's Republic of Bulgaria" no longer existed at the time.
The fuck is going on?

@VIPPER My dad had an USSR passport dated 1998 laying around somewhere, apparently whoever was responsible for issuing passports back then had a surplus of soviet ones and issued them with their stamp throughout the 90s until the stock depleted.
