     Unless something changed in recent models, Samsung requires a SmartThings hub for the smart functions. Keep that in mind.

     I mean, yeah, I can make HA talk to ST. But last I remember you need a hub to make the washer talk to "something".

     @badnetmask @frenck No SmartThings hub required for a 4 month old Samsung WD11DB7B85GBU1.

     Connects to WLAN via the ST app, but then works with HA via the cloud.

     @badnetmask @frenck Washer -> WLAN -> ST Cloud -> ST Integration -> HA. No ST hub. Configured 2024-11, working today.
