Lies of P is insanely good.
Just got through what I think is the second to last boss, and it was so well crafted that I didn't get even slightly frustrated in 1.5 hours of attempts. It's like equal parts Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro, and the devs knew exactly how to make that good. There's also lots of unique enemies throughout the game. Or at least, ones that only show up 2 or 3 times. It's a lot of effort to create variety, and they did good with that too. And then there's soft mechanics that influence characters' stories, like Fromsoft games, except they're much clearer, and the game alerts you when and where you can continue people's quests. Really great game. It raises the bar for what these kinds of games can and should be. Can't wait to get through the rest! :3

@CheetahFluff On some aspects, they are better than FromSoft I'd say. And the whole mechanic about handles and blades is so polished, they really got a neat idea and followed through alright

@solidsanek fully agreed. I hope Fromsoft is taking notes honestly. >.>
Like I'm eager for them to change things up a bit and break out of some of their old habits.
My only complaints with LoP are that the weapons could have another couple of moves maybe, and that the title is very silly.

@CheetahFluff The title and the theme around it is so funny
From the beginning to the end, I kept laughing at the message when you die "lie or die" and the loading screen displaying "Now lying 👃"

@solidsanek yes! The clock is kinda cool but that line is so corny. And then there's the... The P organ.
Good lord what a choice. :blobcatgooglynotlikethis:
