     @Yoruka Reading threads is terrible on Pleroma.
     
     Soap properly clones Twitter--it has multi-threading, splitting reply chains in a readable way. Imageboards solved the same problem by direct linking quoted posts (later adding hover previews and inline post expansions). Pleroma yeets and dumps everything in one linear bag, can’t even tell which post is being replied to.
     
     It would’ve interfered with the flow of conversation LESS by ditching reply chains altogether, and just adding a basic embed post function. This solution, you might recall, was already discovered with e-mail.

     @kanon go to public timeline, then react to people. if you see a faggot you call them a faggot. if you see a nigger you call them a nigger. if you see a niggerfaggot you call them a niggerfaggot. if you see someone based, you react based on the contents of the post.
