   @Holberg Not to justify his inaction but the difference is McConnell had fox propaganda spinning obstruction to heroism, but today there would be fox propaganda vilifying obstruction. They had the propaganda wind at their back, dems didn’t. Sadly the original sin going back decades is that dems never took the gop propaganda machine seriously, they thought the truth would out. And hopefully it does, despite everything.

     How did McConnell control—or obstruct—everything even when he was the minority leader? Schumer should do that. For crying out loud.
