     You're right & I now have a completely new goal for cult fundraising: hostile corporate takeovers.

     #CultOfRamenCatholicism - gib me monies and/or winning lotto tickets so I can buy our favorite brands before Capitalism continues to destroy our precious childhood memories. And, I guess, current & future children's future memories. And, you know, so I can provide a lavish lifestyle to my cats (who are amongst our honorary gods).

     @lordmatt @quixoticgeek Nobody can. AIUI Hasbro's board can issue a buttload of new shares (about 5x the current issue) if they want to, and a takeover bid would drive the price through the roof before they had to do that to hang onto WotC. (Also, if you're worried about Musk, Hasbro's CFO is ex-Paypal and hates his guts.)

     Hasbro are pretty shitty but they're not going to sell the goose that lays the golden eggs to a fascist (or anyone else). And the threat of open games keeps them in line.
