if it's on your computer and you're not using Tor Browser, it can fingerprint you, and no amount of resistance or patching can fix that -

@jessew@mk.cpluspatch.com it reminds me of cookies, I wrote a paper about cookies and how they were intended to be a good thing, and not usable for abuse and tracking
But we all know how that ended up going regardless
