@jens Public shaming does work, however, as shown by Hazel Bryan's '#evolution ' after she was photographed exuding hate for her fellow #American citizens based on the color of their skin.

This is a photo of Elizabeth Eckford, one of the Little Rock nine and Hazel Bryan shouting racial slurs at her.

She did change her stance on integration and did work to improve. There was a reconciliation attempt but it didn’t seem to have worked.

On her way to the school, a group of white teenage girls followed Eckford, chanting "Two, four, six, eight! We don't want to integrate!" One of these girls was Hazel Bryan. Benjamin Fine of The New York Times later described her as "screaming, just hysterical, just like one of these Elvis Presley hysterical deals, where these kids are fainting with hysteria." Bryan also shouted, "Go home, nigger! Go back to Africa!" After the photo became public, Hazel...
